Cocoa arrivals at ports in Ivory Coast, the world’s leading producer, totaled approximately 1.162 million metric tons as of January 18, according to exporter estimates. This represents a 2.4% decline compared with the same point in the previous season, which began on October 1.

Weekly arrivals between January 12 and January 18 were estimated at 37,000 tons, up from 34,000 tons recorded during the corresponding week last season. Despite the stronger weekly inflow, cumulative arrivals remain below last year’s pace.
