Ivory Coast Cocoa Arrivals Rise 20.8% as 2025/26 Season Gains Momentum
Cocoa arrivals at ports in top grower Ivory Coast reached nearly 2 million metric tons by Aug. 16, marking a 20.8% increase from the same period of the previous season, exporters said on Monday.
Arrivals stood at approximately 1.996 million tons since the start of the 2025/26 cocoa season on Oct. 1, compared with around 1.653 million tons recorded by Aug. 16 last season.
About 2,000 tons were delivered to Abidjan port, while another 2,000 tons arrived at the port of San Pedro between Aug. 10 and Aug. 16.
The combined 4,000 tons represented a decline from the 10,000 tons delivered during the same week a year earlier.
