Cocoa Reaches Month Highs on Weather Risks Ahead of Q3 Grindings (13 October 2026)

Cocoa futures reached their highest levels in about a month on Tuesday, 13 October, as weather concerns in producing countries supported prices ahead of this week’s grinding releases. Both markets nevertheless retreated substantially from their intraday highs. London December climbed to £4,466/t before fading during the afternoon to finish at £4,302/t, up £25 (+0.58%) and within the bottom quarter of its daily range. New York December finished at $5,802/t, up $136 (+2.40%), after trading between $5,670 and $5,965. Its $163 retreat from the high left the close in the lower half of the range, tempering an otherwise stronger daily performance.
