Ivory Coast Cocoa Arrivals Edge Up 0.3% by Late April
Cocoa arrivals at ports in Ivory Coast, the world’s leading producer, reached 1.510 million metric tons by April 26, marking a marginal increase of 0.3% compared with the same period last season, according to exporters.
Between April 20 and April 26, approximately 28,000 tons of cocoa beans were delivered to ports—12,000 tons to Abidjan and 16,000 tons to San Pedro. This is higher than the 25,000 tons recorded during the equivalent week a year earlier.
