Arabica Falls Below 280 as Robusta Recovers (4 November 2026)
December Arabica fell for a second session on Wednesday, settling at 279.75 cents/lb, down 4.20 cents or 1.48%. An early rise to 285.45 faded, and prices reached 277.40 before recovering modestly. December has now lost 9.01% since 23 October. The decline continued despite a stronger Brazilian real, as selling ahead of the December contract’s expiry and expectations of improving supply outweighed support from low certified inventories.
London moved in the opposite direction. January Robusta gained $18 to $3,228/t, up 0.56%, after holding near $3,200. March matched that advance, leaving January’s premium over March unchanged.
