Arabica Gives Back Two Days of Gains as Brazil’s Real Weakens (3 November 2026)
December Arabica briefly traded above Monday’s high on Tuesday, reaching 297.35 cents/lb before sellers took control. It settled at 283.95, down 2.79% and just 1.15 cents above the day’s low. One session erased the gains of Friday and Monday. Brazil’s return from a public holiday brought exporters back to the market with a weaker real, making dollar sales more attractive even as exchange stocks remained scarce.
Robusta also fell, but the January contract recovered from $3,192/t to settle at $3,210, down 0.96%. The difference was clearest in the nearest active deliveries: December Arabica fell more than March in New York, while January Robusta held up better than March in London.
