Arabica Falls for a Third Day as Brazilian Coffee Lifts ICE Stocks (5 November 2026)
December Arabica rose to 284.40 cents/lb early on Thursday, but buyers could not hold it above 280. It settled at 277.15, down 2.60 cents or 0.93%, just 0.75 cent above the session low. December has lost 14.95 cents in three sessions and is down 9.86% from its 23 October settlement. A weaker Brazilian real improved the local return on dollar sales, while fresh grading results showed that some of the Brazilian coffee waiting in Antwerp was finally becoming available for exchange delivery.
London Robusta gained for a second day. January reached $3,298/t before settling at $3,241, up $13 or 0.40%. The advance was strongest in the nearer months and faded along the curve: July gained only $4/t, and September edged lower. Buyers continued to pay more for earlier delivery even as Vietnam’s harvest gathered pace.
