December Arabica Falls Again as Later Contracts Recover (29 Ocober 2026)
Coffee’s decline became more concentrated on Thursday. December Arabica lost another 0.45% to settle at 285.45 cents/lb, but buyers lifted March and later deliveries into positive territory. The nearby contract recovered from an early low of 280.80 cents without escaping a sixth consecutive daily loss.
London also failed to sustain its initial advance. January Robusta settled at $3,176/t, down 0.72%, as its premium over March narrowed sharply.
December Arabica has now lost 22.00 cents, or 7.16%, since Friday. A weaker Brazilian real and continued reductions in nearby positions remain central to the correction, while Thursday’s increase in certified stocks offered a small improvement in deliverable supply.
